Alsaie visited the site of the Adhari spring in 2022 and found it to be a drained swimming pool, inaccessible to the public. The gap between the site’s mythological significance and its actual condition prompted this work. Working with serigraphy in Mexico City, she used photographs from that visit to build what she describes as fractured memories of the site.
